12 Power Head Coach
I have been coaching for over 15 years. I started under the late Randy Pounders. I fell madly in love with volleyball and made a committed decision to learn as much as I could.
I am still committed to that decision today.
I love helping young people learn the game and become better individual players and teammates. I try to take every opportunity that I am given to make a positive impact on my athletes.
It’s not just about motivation for a win; it’s about encouraging them to be the best they can be.I have the pleasure of watching these young players grow and develop into empowered young adults.

Played  for the Italian Naval Academy  & coached all age groups for the past 18 years. Coached the past 12 years in Club with Volleyball Pensacola and currently West Florida Waves , also Head Coach at Catholic for the last 8 seasons . Coaching is a science ! It requires  multidimensional skills and the challenge to transfer knowledge and vision to young players . My passion is to develop young players and  see them grow as student-athletes and individuals .  This wonderful sport  that we love ,  gives us the opportunity to teach life lessons and together, with the principles of volleyball, offer us the opportunity to have a positive impact on young generations . It doesn’t get any better than that !

Zoe Hardin
17 Club Head Coach

I am in my first year as a Graduate Assistant volleyball coach at the University of West Florida. I played my college career at Harding University, where I graduated in May of 2019 with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. In my time there I was a 2x All-American middle blocker, 2x Great American Conference Player of the Year, and 4x First-Team All GAC selection.

I was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, and am loving my time adventuring here in Pensacola. I have been around volleyball my entire life, and began playing at seven years old. Once my career was finished, I knew my heart was still in volleyball and I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to this game yet. I chose to come to UWF to fulfill my desire to stay around the sport and coach at a high level, while also pursuing my masters degree. My ultimate goal is to give back to the game that gave me so much, and taught me some of life’s most valuable lessons. I am looking forward to pouring into my players and doing my best to inspire them to love the game in the same way that I do.

I have played volleyball since I was 10 years old and played on scholarship at Belmont University in Nashville, Tn. I played outside hitter and middle back. I continue to stay involved in volleyball by coaching because I do miss playing and I love watching young athletes grow as players and as individuals.
Laura Jennings
12 Club Head Coach

Volleyball is one of my passions. I fell in love with the sport the moment I started playing in High School. I love how much of a team sport it is, the energy and encouragement that is required, and the fast pace of play.
  • I played 4 years at Tate High School
    • Was district runner up senior year and made it to Regionals
  • Coaches at Tate High School 2012- Present
    • 6 years as Freshmen coach
    • 2 years as JV coach.
    • 4 years as a soccer coach at Tate as well
  • Assistant coach for the Pensacola Sports Subway All Star game in 2014
I believe that coaching the player to be a better person and teammate is just as important as teaching the skills. Players will remember the life lessons and relationships that were made long after each drill we ran.
